Hot sauce goes with everything. So do these.
The Maku Spicy Pant. Hand painted flowers that look like they’re on fire, in yellow and ember against a deep red watercolour, running down one leg and finished with a clean cream stripe down each side. Cut from a woven satin of 70% Tencel and 30% rayon, so it’s silky to touch, drapes beautifully and moves with you. Wide through the leg, with an elasticated waist and drawstring that sits high or slides down low, depending on your mood. Pockets, of course. Best worn with the Spicy Cami, and just as good with the Hot Honey Tank.
Why We Love It
- Hand painted Maku artwork, flowers on fire in deep red watercolour
- Cotton side stripe detail
- 70% Tencel, 30% rayon woven satin with a silky feel
- High waisted fit that can also be worn low
- Elasticated waistband with drawstring, plus pockets
- Ethically sourced garment
How We’d Wear It
With the Spicy Cami for the full matching set, exactly as shown. With the Hot Honey Tank and flat sandals for something a little cooler. With a plain white tee and a chunky heel when you want the pants to be the loudest thing in the room.
The Details
- 70% Tencel, 30% Rayon woven satin
- Hand painted artwork by Maku
- Cotton side stripe
- High waisted fit, elasticated waistband with drawstring
- Side pockets
- Inseam 82cm, outseam 111cm
- Model is size 6, 5'7" and wears size 8
Fit Notes: These are a long pant, fitted on a model who is 5'8", so they will need hemming if you’re shorter. They’re designed to sit at a high to mid waist, but you can size up if you’d like to wear them lower.
What is Tencel: Tencel is a silk alternative made in a closed loop process, which makes it a much more eco friendly choice than viscose. It’s silky to touch, and 99% of the water used in its manufacture is recycled and reused.
